A mediterranean wedding

PAULINE & ANTOINE, A COUPLE LIKE NO OTHER

Pauline and Antoine have been together for many years but wanted to make their love a reality. After getting married in a civil ceremony in Paris where they live, they wanted to bring together all their loved ones on the shores of Lake Maggiore for a big celebration. I often talk about the “Marriage Experience.” This expression takes on its full meaning here. Our couple truly offered their guests an experience that they will remember for a long time, they brought Sicily on the shores of Lake Maggiore for their mediterranean wedding.

THE WEDDING VENUE

Pauline and Antoine had arranged to meet their guests at the lakeside in Stresa where they took a boat for an extraordinary aperitif not far from the Borromean Islands, at sunset.

They then moved to Villa Claudia Dal Pozzo, in Belgirate, for which they had a real crush (and we understand them)!

Its magnificent terrace with a breathtaking view of the lake served as the scene for a romantic dinner which turned into an outdoor dance party on several occasions!

A RETURN TO THE ORIGINS

Antoine, being of Sicilian origin, wanted decoration with southern accents.

We therefore created a Mediterranean style table with details such as lemons which were the common thread of the entire decoration…

To bring the south back to Stresa, we also gave the bride and groom a surprise: our musician started playing the accordion between the tables. This created a unique atmosphere!

A FAIRYTALE WEDDING...

LAURA ANDA CLEMENT, A LONG-STANDING STORY

Laura and Clément fell in love when they were just teenagers… and never left each other! After the birth of their magnificent little daughter Capucine, our sparkling Swiss couple wanted to reunite their loved ones and finally formalize this long-standing union on the edge of one of the most romantic lakes in Italy.

THE WEDDING VENUE

Laura and Clément literally fell under the spell of the magnificent Castello Dal Pozzo wedding venue, a “resort” with a 5-star hotel part to accommodate guests with a “roof top” swimming pool as well as a part that can be privatized for weddings with a lake view from the terrace. This extraordinary place is located not far from Arona, south of Lake Maggiore, where we were able to take superb couple photos.

A MAGIC CEREMONY

It was in a vintage Fiat 500 that Laura arrived at the church accompanied by her dad.

Thanks to our follow-up for the religious wedding procedure and our French-speaking priest, Laura and Clément were able to have a beautiful Catholic ceremony in French in a breathtaking church in the center of Arona.

For the anecdote, it started to rain when we were leaving for the church and it rained throughout the ceremony. As soon as it ended, a beautiful sun came out which allowed our newlyweds to walk in the pretty town of Arona for a nice photographic shoot and the guests to be able to enjoy the exterior of the Castle.

THE WEDDING RECEPTION

After the ceremony, Laura and Clément’s guests were able to enjoy the terrace of the Castello Dal Pozzo while tasting a very generous typical Italian aperitif and enjoying the entertainment chosen by the newlyweds such as a photobooth or live music…

Dinner & party

The dinner took place in the magnificent Belle Epoque style Orangery of the Castello Dal Pozzo which allows for outdoor dining even in case of unpredictable weather.
Laura & Clément wanted a decoration that reflected their image, romantic and boho. With pink and white tones, pampas… A mix of high and low centerpieces gave dynamism and originality to the decoration!

Once dinner was over, the couple cut the cake in the “Central Sala” where they then danced until the end of the night.

A true fairytale wedding on the shores of Lake Maggiore for our two Swiss lovers!

LUXURY WEDDING BY LAKE MAGGIORE

AN AMAZING ENCOUNTER

I have always believed in fate. And once again he gave me a friendly wink.
Indeed, Caroline and Joris, a young French couple, were looking for a Wedding Planner in Italy for their luxury wedding on the shores of Lake Maggiore, a country they adore and are particularly fond of. Caroline finds my website, contacted me and talked about it to her work colleague Sandrine to ask her opinion. It turns out that Sandrine is a longtime friend! What an incredible coincidence. Then, a beautiful relationship of trust with Caroline and Joris was born quite naturally!

THE WEDDING VENUE

Caroline and Joris literally fell in love with one of the most beautiful and luxurious villas on Lake Maggiore, Villa Rusconi-Clerici in Verbania.
An exclusive place located directly on the lake with a breathtaking view…
Caroline got ready directly on site accompanied by her bridesmaids while Joris got ready for Stresa in a very relaxed atmosphere!

A CEREMONY, BETWEEN LAUGHTER AND TEARS

It was under a beautiful sun that Caroline and Joris united “symbolically” at the villa after going “officially” to the Mayor that same morning.

A magnificent ceremony rich in emotion and led with a masterful hand by our French-speaking celebrant.

The newlyweds were so hot that we served them Italian ice cream during the ceremony, an anecdote that relaxed an emotionally charged atmosphere!

THE WEDDING RECEPTION

After the ceremony, Caroline and Joris’ guests were able to enjoy the exceptional panorama on the shores of Lake Maggiore while enjoying a typical Italian aperitif and the entertainment chosen by the newlyweds such as a photobooth or a caricaturist…

DINNER & PARTY

The dinner took place in the magnificent greenhouse of the Villa, a bioclimatic greenhouse which remains cool even in summer. The newlyweds did their first dance there, a choreography worthy of “Dancing with the stars”!

Once dinner was over, the couple cut the cake by the lake under a shower of lights…

The dance party then took place partly at the Villa to end on a “party boat” until the early morning.

A real luxury wedding on the shores of Lake Maggiore for our two French newlyweds!

A winter wedding in Stresa

A WINTER WEDDING IN STRESA

Thanks to the mild climate of Lake Maggiore, it is quite possible to organize a winter wedding in Stresa. This is the bet made by our spouses Alessandra & Roberto who wanted to get married after so many years and two beautiful children. A February day under the sign of a beautiful sun, romantic and soft…

A BEAUTIFUL ENCOUNTER

When they contacted me, two months before, I had a very good feeling with this magnificent couple. Being both very busy with their respective activities between Geneva, Alessandria and Vercelli, they needed help to organize this day. Despite the fact that I was 9 months pregnant on the date of the wedding, I embarked on this beautiful challenge.

A RETURN TO ORIGINS

Villa Frua in Stresa was an obvious choice of wedding venue, its warm internal rooms lending themselves perfectly to the event. Alessandra being from Gignese, a small village above Stresa, the couple chose to celebrate there the religious ceremony. In order to remember the grandmother of our bride, Jewish music was played by our organist accompanied by our talented violinist. That was very emotional!

THE WEDDING DAY

After the mass, the festivities therefore all took place at Villa Frua. Thanks to our trusted caterer, guests were greeted with a warm welcome drink, especially appreciated in this season. Alessandra and Roberto had chosen French music for the musical background of the reception in order to give a retro and elegant touch to their big day.

DECCORATION AND COLORS

The wedding palette is sage green and white, elegant and natural colors. Alessandra and Roberto wanted a simple, elegant atmosphere with wintry touches and light.

If you also want a winter wedding in Stresa, feel free to contact me!

We are proud to say that this wedding has been published on Wedding Wonderland!

Elegance and Love on Lake Maggiore

Elegance and Love on Lake Maggiore …

When Sabina contacted us the first time, we immediately understood what kind of marriage she wanted: an elegant wedding where simplicity and emotion would be the main protagonists. Challenge met!

So… take an amazing couple, a beautiful day in July, the exceptional setting of Lake Maggiore… mix everything and you will get a dream wedding, filled with love and emotions: the big day of Sabina and Benjamin (or Sabi and Ben for the intimate ones).

The preparation of the couple took place in the beautiful and intimate Villa Volpi (Ghiffa, Verbania), villa whose our couple fell in love at first sight.

The symbolic and civil ceremony (yes, yes it exists!) Took place at the water’s edge at Villa Giulia. Fortunately, the guests had handkerchiefs at their disposal because the emotion was intense!

Finally, return to Villa Volpi for the festivities… with a surprise prepared by the mother of Sabina (with the complicity of our Wedding Planner): a tenor came to sing opera songs during dinner (chills guaranteed!) and a firework at the moment of the  wedding cake…
